Between our own farm and our relationships with local farmers and purveyors, we were able to source over 90% of our menu from within 5 miles of the restaurant. 
Our menu celebrate the seasons and changed daily to reflect what was coming in out of the fields. 

I commissioned a local blacksmith the create our signature carrot handle.

The pun is alive and well. 
With the help of a friend’s toddler, I did a photoshoot in our fields to bring a little farm humor to our bathroom walls. Ultimately this bathroom joke garnered us what is considered to be the most prestigious bathroom award in the entire upstate of South Carolina, the Flushie. 

Our farm was just down the trail from the restaurant, so the barrier around the dumpsters became a great place to share a unique truth to passers by. 
During Covid, we had to pivot quickly to be able to retain our staff and continue to support our farm and our other small farm partners. I created a plant based prepared meal subscription called Planted to help us through. It turned out to be very successful and continued well beyond the lift on restaurants.
